    having problems with AOPEN DVD RW ISU8484G

    For a while now my dvd burner has been giving me lots of problems.

    When i dont have a disk in the drive it appears as dvd-rw in my computer but once i put a blank dvd it changes to cd-rom drive in the hardware information andwont burn dvds. Also, autoplay does not launch when putting in a dvd or any other type of cd.

    Any ideas?
