i got a sony fz21e and want to hook it up to my sony lcd. i got a hdmi lead plugged it in but i cant seem to get it working right. 1st time i used it it was fine i could move the mouse on my lapop screen and it did the same on the lcd. but i tryed changing the display beacause the picture on the telly was to big and cut some off. I plugged it back in and now i can only get the mouse pointer and stuff on the lcd telly and not the laptop. any1 know what setting i need to get it working on both again???? im new to vista so dont really know my way around it and im not great on the com.

You will need to change the resolution for the LCD TV using the Display Settings in the Control Panel. Depending on your TV resolution, it should be either 1344 x 769 or 1920 x 1080(if your TV supports full HD 1080P).

Sounds like you're spanning / extending your desktop, you want to CLONE your desktop if you want the same image on both with the mouse to appear on both.

Try using Fn+F5 or whatever the key for changing video output settings. The key should have 2 screen icons next to each other.
