hi, i'm just wondering, would a longetivity be affected by how hot it run?
if it run for, say... 70+degress C, how long would it last? and would the polycarbonate ABS plastic withstand that kind of heat?
would the chassis made of magnesium makes much difference in term of heat dissipation?

yes heat does affect such materials, but not noticably. You might see some warping or discoloration, but nothing too extensive.
The chasis will not break due to overheating and cooling, however, you should be worried about your physical hardware such as your cpu / HD, because they can become destroyed from overheating (as you probably know).
To answer your question, possibly some areas of the chasis might get damaged due to heat, although highly unlikely. Your laptop really depends more on how you take care of it. -

You'd be hard pressed to find a situation where you were able to get your notebook hot enough to warp/melt/damage your notebook case before your entire motherboard died.
That being said I think you're looking at the wrong thing. The heat of the components themselves causes more wear the hotter they get, there by decreasing time before breakdown. Your number one reason to lower the temp of your system using the many means availible would be to prevent burning your lap/palms (if app.) or to increase the lifetime of your parts and or battery time.
