Checkout the PLL and try ClockGen, SetFSB and CPUCool to OC the FSB.
And use SpeedFan, HWMonitor, Realtemp to monitor the temps.... -
This belongs in the desktop section, but to overclock, you need to enter the Bios. In teh Bios, you will find many tabs or pages, depending on the type of Bios you have, Pheonix, Award, etc. To overclock, you need to set the processor clcok from automatic to manual.
From their you need to slowly increase the FSB of the processor. DO this slowly, cause too much of an increase can cause your computer to crash, and you will ahve to reset it via a cmos short.
If you are hitting a wall when overclocking, you will have to increase the core voltage a bit. Only go one step in voltage at a time and see how far that brings you.
If you bring the voltage too high, you will break your processor.
Also, Asus does offer software overclcoking utilities, which would come with your motherboard, if you bought the motherboard new. They work, but overclocking from the Bios is the preferred way, since their are more options, and it is much more stable overclocking from the Bios.
