Yep read the stickies as they will answer your question.

FYI, the answer is no you cannot upgrade your laptop's graphic card(see the sticky on top of this forum for more info).

Also double posting is against the forum rules so your other thread was deleted(make sure you only him submit once)

    Is your notebook the 5710G (MXM-II) or 5710 ??

If it has integrated graphics, then upgrading -> no no !!

If it has a dedicated card (128MB), upgrading to the 256MB one won't give you much of an improvement, and the card is very expensive.

So, buy a new notebook if you are fond of gaming & stuff....

Upto 4GB (2x2) PC2-5300 DDR2-667 200pin SODIMM RAM (If your notebook has the 945GM/PM chipset)

And after upgrading to 4GB, you won't see the full 4GB, only about 3.2-3.5GB will be usable.

No you cannot manipulate the Memory frequency.

Best RAM to buy --> Cheapest RAM w/ Lifetime Warranty

You can choose b/w G.Skill, OCZ, Crucial, Corsair, Kingston, Patriot etc etc

    Removing the Memory

    1. Remove the four screws holding the thermal cover.
    2. Detach the thermal cover from the main unit.
    3. Pop out the memory from the DIMM socket then remove it (If the notebook has two modules, then repeat this step).

    thx ANDY...
and btw regarding the frequency of the RAM i will just buy the 667 over 800 coz i cannot use the whole speed of it and 667 is more cheaper than 800
    am i right?

Yes, that is (and you're) right. Go for DDR2-667, if cheaper. :)

Hi thank you for posting the pictures of the back of the 5710.. I've tried following the instructions - but the hatch is really stiff. Am worried about breaking it if I try to lever it too hard. Can I bother you for more tips on how to do this without breaking it once you've taken the 4 screws out please?
    best regards and thanks tim

Try following this video, and see if you're able to remove the modules.

Once each clip comes off slightly (from the sides), the module should pop up. If it doesn't, push the outer edge of the module upwards yourself so the module is inclined at an angle of 45*, and then pull it out.
