If you want to overclock stay away from generic usually, to know for sure the quality you have to google them up and find what memory chips they use (IC's)

I purpostly built my machine to run at max performance so I needed good ram its running DDR500 at 3-4-3-8 timings with a 1:1 ratio with my cpu fsb so I get the best amount of power from each cpu cycle.

Id just look around more for some good ram from a trusted seller like newegg.
Check out things like pricegrabber aswell.

Infact let me see if I can find you a good deal really fast.

119$ after rebate if you dont mind rebates:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231047

106$ for value stuff wich is still great ram if your not intrested in benchmarks scores or overclocking:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231039

Those are both 2gb kits that compose of 2x1gb dimms that have been tested together for max compatablity in dual channel mode.

Heck if I had more money Id sell you my top end stuf very cheap (like 40$ max for both dimm's) because Id love to upgrade to a C2D and DDR2.

edit: just noticed you need sodimms not desktop dimms from your ebay link, that link aslo says its DDR2...

    you need DDR tho right?

    im looking...

wow it just doesnt exsist!!! I went thru 20 pages on pricegrabber, 15 on google, and all thru ebay. Its all no-name stuff, smaller than 1gb, or its DDR2. Anything that meets the requirements here (DDR So-Dimm 400mhz) start off at about 85$.

This is the best I can find with a trusted name: (but I have no info on that seller, its a google seller so it should be fine)

An here is the best no-name I can find, and this is a trusted seller with feedback:
