Hi-
I plan to purchase a new laptop to do graphic design (and runPhotoshop, Illustrator, Flash and Dreamweaver) is it worth it to pay for the higher resolution on Dell Inspiron (1440x990 vs 1920x1200) or the HP Pavilion (1680x1050 vs 1440x 900). Will the image quality be drastically improved?
Any suggestions or advice will be greatly appreciated.
thanks!

i do believe images look sharper and yes the quality will be better, depending on ur video card. with a higher resolution you can always lower it, at least on a mac.

For graphic design, higher res is always better! It is a relatively inexpensive upgrade to the high res screen, and you'll have much higher DPI. You'd be a fool not to do it.

Get it if you especially use Ps.

For everyday tasks and graphic design, higher res is better.
For gaming, depending on your GPU and the games you play, you're better to stick with lower resolution... still not too low. -
Thanks Everyone!
high resolution worth it?
