    There are actually MANY programs that do this.

    I like NHC, but more than heat and fan speed I use it to maximize battery life and monitor temps.

    You can also try:
    Speedfan
    Motherboard Monitor
    Everest Home Edition (can't get free version from main page anymore, need to find a third party download site)

    Speedfan is great. I use it to cool my system down sometimes and just to see how hot its running-its like a personal space heater sometimes!
