Got a toshiba and cpuz is not reading the voltage.

FYI, there is no single voltage level for a cpu. Depending on the frequency it automatically adjusts the voltage level.
Try using the later versions of cpuz unless you have been doing so...

You might give throttlestop a try too. Ramgen is right, there is no single voltage, it depends on clocks and anyways, you can't change it like you could with the core 2 CPUs, Intel locked them pretty tight. As far as I know, no one managed to tweak the voltage on mobile core i CPUs.

thx, I just want the cpu voltage reading. I'm using throttlestop but can't see the voltage at each multiplier.

I get a dynamic VID value for my i7-2600K (on my desktop at the moment), the multiplier changes rather rapidly though.

I installed a program called Core Temp. You can see the VID value as well as the Watts it uses how much load and the temps

Your BIOS setup may show you approximate voltage on the Main tab. If you know the watts of the CPU, you can use a formula to find out the voltage as well; though as already mentioned, the actual voltage is dynamic depending on load.
