I was just wondering, my laptop has s-video and HDMI slots here, but my tv is kinda old and only has regular RCA plugs.
Is there a way i can get my laptop to connect to my tv?

you can get a lead s-video to rca. This will connect your laptop to your tv.

You should be able to get them from any good audio visual store, or ebay.

    Example of lead

Bangert is right. Note however, that on an old TV, the image will be very grainy, and the refresh rate very poor. With the possible exception of the occasional PowerPoint presentation, it's likely you won't like the picture much.

Yeah you get the connectors for the S-Video port. Not sure if one exists for the HDMI.

By the way, is your HDMI port audio enabled. I have seen some posts in this forum, which says that some HDMI ports just transmit the picture and not the audio.
