i purchased a Sager NP2096 and its supposed to be 1066 mhz.
is there a way to make sure it is? thanks

Should be able to check through CPUZ from CPUID.

Run CPU-Z and check the FSB on its 1st page.

Download CPU-Z and go into the processor tab. It will tell you what processor you have, and what frequency your processor is running at.
