hello ppl. i've just purchased an MSI GX630 and the partitioning it comes with is annoying to say the least. I was wondering if there was any way i could join them or increase the partition size of the smaller C drive which only has 44GB! =(

also a second notebook of mine, a Dell Inspiron 1526. i got it last Christmas but my problem is that the hard drive space keeps decreasing tho im not downloading anything. some friends of mine suggested that the virtual memory and/or the browser cache may be set too high and so were eating up my HD space but we checked those. i even formatted the hard drive to make sure no viruses/trojans were the cause. im not sure of what else to do. can any1help with either of these plz?

If the laptop in question is running Vista
Right click on the harddrive and then click on properties and go on disk clean up, when it has finished scanning go on the advanced tab, and then click "clean all but the most recent restores" Vista makes a restore image every time you install a new program, or changed important settings so space fills up fast
