    Hello,

I just bought a Sony PCG-V505D with 256MB of RAM & would like to increase it to 512MB. I know the slot is under the keyboard, but I'm afraid to break something. I tried to open the keyboard & broke the F10 key already ;) I'm aware that there are two hinges on both sides of the keyboard, but there seems to be resistance somewhere in the center of the keyboard. Should I just yank it out? Please let me know if you've installed RAM on V505 before & share your trick on how to do so. Thank you very much for your help.

    Ken.

Nevermind, I found instruction on how to do so in Sony's Help section. Should have read instruction before playing with it ;)
