    how to upgrade my ram .. i have 2 gigabytes and i want to upgrade to 3 or 4 .. how to ??
    and is theres a way to stop the graphich card from taking memory from the ram ?

    With a T8100 looks like Santa Rosa. So you want PC5300/5400 200pin SO-DIMM RAM. Your card does not take system RAM. So do not worry about that. NewEgg is where I think buying RAM is good there are others but that is where I like?

    Unless you have a 64 bit Operating System either XP, Vista or Linux, you'll only be able to use 3GB of memory.

    After you order the Ram you open a slot on the bottom of the laptop, pop out what you had before by pushing the pins on either side away from the RAM module, then it should tilt up and you take it out, and slide the new one in. That's how my computers have all worked at least.
