    hp dv6 7000 Quad with 160GB SSD Question

    Does anyone have the above laptop configured with HP's 160 GB SSD? If so I'd appreciate any comments regarding its performance, and how you like it.
    I am probably going to order it while I can still get it with Win7.

    I am hesitant to void the warranty by installing an after market at this time, so this is my only real option I believe.

    You won't void the warranty if you install another SSD - and, you should be able to 'downgrade' to Win7 if you buy a new system with Win8 installed.

    Win8 Highly Recommended with new systems and SSD's...
