    hp pav dv6000 sound problem quickplay? mute

    I have 2 hp pavilion dv6000's when I upgraded to vista my mute button became locked/lit on my quickplay strip and my sound dosent work but my vista say everything is ok -what do I do? Help!!

    I had the same problem with my dv6799 Special Edition. The problem occured after installing the latest driver of sound card. After installing older driver everything went normal and the mute button is working fine. :)
