    Hello all,

I wanted to upgrade my notebook's internal hard drive (never done it before). Can someone help me if the following is compatible with my laptop - hp pavilion dv5 1235dx.

Seagate - Momentus 500GB Internal Serial ATA Hard Drive
    Model: ST905003N3A1AS-RK
Planning to get it from Best buy

Also can i do it myself, i have experience replacing hard drives from PC's but have never done it with laptops. i found some online videos and it looks pretty easy.

    Appreciate any help.
    Thanks

    Danny

Yes any 2.5" 9.5mm SATA notebook drive will work.
