    Hello everyone!

I have the hp pavilion zv 5000 and I 'm trying to upgrade it with an internal mini pci wireless adaptor. The adaptor is the cm9 from winstron..
When I'm trying to boot i get this message:
unsupported wireless network device detected.System halted.REmove device and restart.

I tried another wireless adaptor and came with the same results..

So I 've read many threads for this problem none of them gave me the solution.I also tried the rechner.com and richud.com solutions but I don't seem to understand them..

Any of you guys please give me a solution I would really appreciate it..

    Thank you!

HP whitelists approved wireless cards, that usually must be bought from HP. Its basically a rip-off scheme.

Ask forum moderator miner about that one, as I believe he knows a little more about it.
