    hi. i have a old laptop hp pavilion zv5000 and i want to put a new motherboard, my motherboard serial is 370475-001, can i put a motherboard 370493-001 or a different serial?

    It does not appear that the 370493-001 serial is a compatible board.

    Compatible boards for 370493-001.

    Also, the 370493 serial appears to be a AMD board/chipset. The 370475 serial is Intel, from what I see.

    so if i found any Intel it would work?, or it has to be exactly the same?

    "Any" Intel chipset will not work. You need the right chipset make and model, and the board has to be designed for your chassis. Sometimes you can get away with sticking a board with a different SKU in your case, but make absolutely sure it will work.
