    new here so sorry if i posted this in wrong section.

    i have a hp pavillion DV6527ea laptop
    just run out of warranty and i have a little problem with it

    just under were the power button is, there are 3 cables

    1 is the webcam cable to above the screen
    2 is the zif cable to the power button
    3 is a zif cable to the led quick play etc...

    the zif cable to the led display has snapped and i am trying to find a place were to get a new 1
    i have contacted HP and they are no help at all
    dpes anyone here know where i could get 1 or does anyone have 1 spare that they would sell me please

    in the pictures u will see the cable i require and what the laptop looks like and were the led are

    try ebay... or if someone knows the part number , u can try getting the cable from hp..

    From the HP Partsurfer, it looks like the part number you are looking for may be "431394-001 Display panel (15.4 inch) cable" if you're talking about the cable that leads to the display screen, or may be included in "449955-001 Cable kit - includes audio 14-pin cable, two FFC 12-pin power cables, and 2-pin modem cable". You'll probably have to contact HP or someone else to be sure exactly what's contained in the second kit.
