    hey folks,

when shopping around to upgrade my dv9500's (dv9535nr, specifically) T5250, i stumbled onto a great deal on a T7200. unfortunately, after i clicked submit, i remembered that the T7200 is NOT a santa rosa chip, whereas the T5250 is. am i fscked, or is the pin-out the same between the two: i.e. can i install the T7200 on the dv9500's mobo successfully?

i'm a bit of a nub when it comes to the centrino duo line. :'(

    thanks for any help/advice!

No, Intel changed the pin configuration on Santa Rosa compatible processors. So, even though the older Napa based processors have the same socket they are not compatible with Santa Rosa.
