Hello all:
I saw the test result from Mobile Processors - Benchmarklist - Notebookcheck.net Tech and discovered unexpectedly, 520m's performance is weaker than 460m, though 520m has a higher model. Is that true? I use laptop for programming, java, oracle etc.
below is test result snapshot.

The release date of the 520m was Q1/10, while the release date of the 460m was Q3/10. Both are geared towards different markets - 520m more to businesses and 460m more to consumers. The base clock of the 460m is higher than the 520m (2.53 vs 2.4) but the turbo clock of the 520m is higher than the 460m (2.93 vs 2.8). Also, the 520m has vPro, VT-d, Intel Trusted Execution Technology and AES New Instructions. If you require virtualisation or work in a business environment or encrypt/decrypt files on a large scale, the 520m would be better suited, if not then the 460m should suffice.

I would say the 520m due to its higher turbo clock speed.
i5 520m is not as good as 460m?
