I have a Core i7 laptop and it should show 4 physical cores and 4 virtual cores, however I only see 2 graphs in the Task Manager CPU usage. Is this normal?

you haven't by chance changed the boot option for optimizing the boot? like, defining "use 2 cores only".

    like that:

because that tweak it false, it only arbitary limits the system.

and what have we learned? tweaks that are too good to be true are just that: too good to be true, or, formulated different: wrong :)

That's not true! I set the following registry key = 1 and I know have a 16 core laptop.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Magically_Enable_16_Core_Laptop

    ;) :D
