    I'm being tempted by an i7-3820QM QS QBZV/QC23 on the bay of the e's.

    What does the QBZV/QC23 part stand for?

    These are qualification sample CPUs. They aren't even technically legal to sell and may or may not be fully functional chips. Those codes likely correspond to revisions of the CPU but, again, there is no data to back this up.
