This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Looking for an external sound card to support Optical (5.1 Surround Sound) for my mac. I would probably use Windows to watch movies on blu-ray so it doesn't have to support OS X. Do these cards have a big delay? Price < $200 if possible. Thank you!
