    any ram with the same speeds as specified on the apple sight, it doesnt have to be apple specific ram.

    I know it doesn't have to be apples specific RAM, I was just curious if there was a specific module people with macs would normally buy that is compatible. But I did read you can upgrade using RAM with specific specs.

    na. i still havent upgraded my ram (yet) but the sayin seems to be "ram is ram", buy whats cheap. the companies you named are good go with one of them and ull be fine
