the i6000 comes with ddr2 memory

so does that mean you cant put in any regular ddr memory in it?
as of right now it seems newegg only sells ddr memory for notebooks, unless im missing something

so does that mean if i want to upgrade the memory i would need to just get it from dell

    also what would be better
    1gb (2x512) ddr dual channel
    512 (2x256) ddr2 dual channel

[edit] okay i just found the ddr2 memory :( nevermind :)
