    hi there.first off i'll tell you more about my system,then some questions.

    i have a dell inspiron 8600, with dothan 1.6, 1gig RAM, ATI 9600 pro turbo

    in the future, would it be possible to upgrade the cpu?or increase the RAM further?

    secondly, on some sites with graphs etc, the text looks really blocky, but on my older laptop it looked great.is this because it is a widescreen?

    and thirdly, i am getting aol broadband soon.what do i need to buy to make my wifi work with it.also, can you use wifi with aol dial-up?

    thankyou kindly for your help folks.

    cheers

    You could upgrade the RAM easily. The CPU is harder, but doable.

    * Inspiron 8600c * 1.8ghz Pentium M * 128 MB Radeon 9600 Pro Turbo * 2x512 MB DDR2700 SDRAM * 60GB 7200RPM HDD *
