hello guys, i want to update the firmware of my intel postville x2 and i´m not sure how i should backup my ssd.

Anyone can recommend a good free programm to backup my whole ssd (with win7)?

And after i backuped it i need to burn the .iso on some cd, boot with that cd and there i can install the update i guess?

I couldnt find any option in my bios for the "drive password".. the readme says u need to turn it off before updating :x

    thanks

If you didn't set a drive password then you do not need to turn it off.

After you downloaded the file and burnt it to a CD you start with the CD and the process if pretty much walkthrough.
