Im using an HP dv9500t with an Intel 4965agn wireless card, and I was wondering if anyone has gotten the Intel Proset/wireless software to work on Vista 32bit.
I tried installing it and it installed successfully but I dont see the wireless management software, namely the iFrmewrk.exe process. When I try to run it I get the error:
"There is no default plug-in for Windows Vista operating system. Please select Intel PROset/Wireless from Start Menu to run plug-ins."
Except there is no "Intel PROset/Wireless" in the start menu, just Advanced Statistics and Manual Diagnostics.
Has anyone gotten the Intel PROset/Wireless management software to work? I would really prefer to use it over Windows wireless management.

proset does not work in vista

ProSet does indeed work with Vista; however, the management portion is not installed. All you really get is some diagnostics and the Cisco CCX functions.

I've been wondering with this as well.
I loved the Intel wireless management application in XP. -

Damnit, I loved that app. No tweak (run old installation in compatible mode)?

Any fix to this?
