Yup, you can definitely upgrade the cpu. But be aware that it will void your warranty.
-
wow awesome thanks , is it hard to upgrade ? and is there anything ishould be concerned about before trying to upgrade? like overheating, etc
-
Well you should watch your temps, since you will be getting a faster cpu. It shouldn't be hard. Once you get to it, it's a simple pop out, pop in.

this was exactly the same question I was going to ask! I bought the same laptop and was curious if it was upgradeable or not.
as an added curiousity, is there a way to upgrade the cooler to handle the extra heat of the new CPU? -
No not really. Laptop coolers have very specific specifications, and you can't just go out and buy a replacement like you can for desktops.
-
I could not find your CPU but from looking around the TDP difference is likely 1W so you might be going from 34W to 35W. Just a guess and if this is true not a major strain on your cooling system IMO. Much you could do if and when you want to do heavy computing such as a "cooler". Anyway does look doable.
