Just wondering if the Core 2 Duo T5250 is a chip based on the Santa Rosa chipset? On wikipedia it says that the T5250 is a Socket P and that the Santa Rosa is Socket P while Napa is Socket M.
So am I correct that the T5250 is on Santa Rosa?

    Thanks

No, the T5270 is santa Rosa not the T5250, However performance is near identical, as the T5250 has a 1oomhz faster core clock, but 133mhx slower FSB.

The T5250 was designewd for the Santa Rosa platform but does not have the 800MHz FSB of the more powerful chips, so yes, but no.

    Quick question:

How does the T5250 (1.5/667) and T5270 (1.4/800) compare to the AMD Turion X2 TL-58(1.9/?) ? If you could rank them that would be great. Thanks.

The T5250 is Socket P and so is the T5470 - they are both 'Santa Rosa' CPUs.
Clockspeeds don't mean much in this day and age, but the AMD does have a significant advantage there so if I had to give you a guesstimate, the AMD is going to be a bit faster.

    I can't see buying a 1.4GHz CPU in this day and age. A 1.5 isn't much better.
