I know T9300 is tested and is a bit faster than the T7700.
But I can't find any benchmark for the T8100 , especially comapring its performance against the T7500.
I know think the T8100 is due to its smaller L2 cache slower than the T7500 for Photoshop or video decoding work.
But I can't be sure how much slower it is than the T7500, I now have the T8300 and HD2400 at work and want to exchange it to a model have T8100 with better GPU-the NV8600gt.
But if the T8100 is significantly slower than the T8300 or the T7500, I will keep mine and forget about gaming for a while.
So if any one know any benchmark compaing these CPUs , not T9300 or T9500, these are over priced here and I am not interested in them.
Any info appreciated.

WPrime is a good benchmark. Any photo editing, video encoding is a good benchmark. The problem is finding results from other users to measure them against. We have a good selection, thanks to Gohpn on WPrime, do a search for test your CPU performance and you'll find the thread. Hope that helps!

thanks , do you think the T8100 is fast enough or at least as fast as the T7500? I would like to down grade my T8300 to it to get a better GPU.

You will only notice the difference in benchmarks. Which wins T7500 vs T8100? They will be the same in the real world.

hope not then I can get the NVIDIA 8600(the NVIDIA only comes with T8100 or T7250 here), but this deal only last till sunday to I have to make my mind in 2 days.
Thanks for your input , seems like better get a cheaper CPU with a more expensive GPU like NV8600 or HD 3850 ?
So basically , I'll have to choose NV8400GS(128mb GDDR3) with T8300 or NV8600GT(256mb gddr2) with T8100, or T8300 with HD2400 with 256mb of GDDR3. -
It is about a 12% or 13% difference in demanding CPU tasks T8300 vs T8100. Simple math as same L2 and same CPU line.

As powerpack says the T8300 will only be a virtually unnoticeable 12-13% faster...if that...and only in the most demanding CPU tasks.
It is generally considered to take a speed difference of 15-20% to be even noticeable in real world use. Actually, I think you would be better off with the better GPU and the T8100. -
I would recommend the T8100 to OP as the diff between T8300 vs T8100 is minimal and only in certain tasks. I agree with all paladin44 said. I should of spelled it out more clearly. There is no reason for OP to sacrifice on gaming. Let me put it in perspective. That 12% to 13% is a theoretical maximum difference on the most demanding tasks. I have doubts those will even be realized, but for the sake of discussion fine, let us run with it and from OP user name let us go with PhotoShop example. I will use 10% to make the math easy. If you adjust a photo and the T8300 takes 1 minute the T8100 takes maybe 1minute 6 seconds, it goes on 1 hr is 1 hour and 6 minutes. That is best case. Without a stopwatch you can't tell. The GPU is very noticeable. I would buy the T8100 in a heart beat. I feel the overall experience (better GPU) will be far superior. I hope I did not post too late.
