im just wondering so i know in the future when i do decide to upgrade my hdd.
ive replaced hdd's in desktops before and thats a piece of cake but since im not familiar with doing it to laptops is it hard.

i noticed when i opened the bottom of the case where the hdd is it looked like it had some type of paper attached to it on the top i didnt mess with it i just but the lid back on it.

It's not too hard. Probably faster than a desktop hard drive upgrade once you get the case off, etc. Just make sure the power is off, it's unplugged and the battery is removed. There may be a label over the drive itself, but it should either be removable or come out with the drive.

Not sure I understand, I have never seen paper. Perhaps some pics would help.

You will find the hard disk in the caddy, so unscrew the caddy, take the old hard disk out, pop the new one in, screw the caddy back in, and you are done. Make sure it is detected, and then install Windows.
