    I purchased the new dell studio 15" and i didn't know some came with a backlight to the keyboard. is it possible to get this installed?

    Replacing the keyboard is fairly simple. I have an older model Studio 15 (model 1535) and I did exactly that; bought it with the standard keyboard and installed the backlit one myself. If you bought it new, I assume you got the new 1555 model. I don't know where you'd get a backlit keyboard for this new model, though.
