I'm wondering if this is a software or hardware issue. It just started today, see right now its working fine but there are times when the spacebar and the "e" key dont do anything. I have to press on them really hard for it to work and sometimes the cursor will just stop moving even though I'm holding down the spacebar. I took off the keys and cleaned them and also pushed the little button for a while under the key and it was working just fine.

Does it happen only in Windows? Try like a Linux live disc to see if it happens on a different OS. Worst case you will need a new keyboard, OR the ZIF connection isn't good (reseat your keyboard).

Sounds more like a replacement keyboards is needed. Get a usb keyboard and mouse and disconnect your laptop keyboard and try if the usb keyboard works and if it does then your keyboard needs to be replaced.

I had an old Lenovo keyboard do that. I just plucked out the keys and put them back in. I think there was a dust ball and some crumbs down there! Works fine now.
