Hey guys wonder if u guys can help me. I just spilled some water on the keyboard on my laptop and i quickly wiped the liquid off as fast as possible and then i continue to finish off wat i was doing then after an hour or so i restarted the computer and notice the space bar is not working and also i've been turning it on to check if the spacebar is working. Can anyone give me any suggestion ? Right now i just put a cloth on the keyboard and flipped it around.
Laptop: xps M1330
Edit: I open the laptop and everything is working fine but the spacebar is not working = / Any help ?

you should have unplugged and taken out the battery when you got water on it. are u sure it is completely dry?maybe part of the keyboard is fried
-
Yeah, the keyboard and even the whole laptop should be fine so long as you don't turn it on while it's wet. Which you did. Open it up and let it dry completely and try again later.

Thx =) i tried it again this morning and the space bar is working again and everything is working fine

My toshiba has seen massive coolaid, eggnogg and beer spills. But it's still holding up just fine.
But next time you spill, don't turn it back on! You might fry something. Just leave it drying for a few days... -
Hey guys again. Now i have another problem i think its link with the spilling problem the laptop was running gd. But then it when spaz their was spaces appearing out of no where and stuff moving up and down. Anyone know is it cause of the spill i did or is it something else ?
