I need help with replacement for my power adapter in my Comapal FL90/Zepto Znote 3415w
right now I have this
Specifications:
http://www.fyadapter.com/products_show.asp?id=114
but after couple of months it started to make funny noise, it still works, but i dont want to take risk becase i'm using this laptop for long hours every day.
Thats where my problem starts, there are many replacements for popular laptop brands, some of them might do,but mostly there are no specifications on adapters description - just models of laptops it will fit, of course i can't find one for my compal![]()
secondary question: Whats best place to look or buy it online in UK?
cheers.

Why not ask the Zepto support? Any other Compal reseller.

zepto homepage doesn't work, I don't know any other compal resellers - me = newb, i figured out spec ok but not sure which of hp,acer, etc. models use the same adapter spec and plug
I need laptop adapter with spec: 19V 4.75A, any suggestions ?
edit: plus i would buy the same adapter as i have right now, to make it easy, but i cant find this model in online shops :-/
edit: so i figured out that specifications on manufacturer site http://www.fyadapter.com/products_show.asp?id=114 might be wrong and its not: 19V 4.75A, but should be 19V 4.74A
i also found out that adapter model: PA-1900-24 should be compatible, specs: link anyone would like to confirm ? i just cant be sure, not enough experience -
Check this post for EU resellers.

i did that, thank you.
well no luck, they sell adapters named: Novatech Laptop AC Adapter For X50MV Chassis etc.
thing is that many of adapters are compatible with other models but nobody put that in item description, some experienced ppl dont have problem with finding replacements but me, i just dont know
btw plenty of you guys use also kit laptops from resellers, it might happen to you as well, what your going to do then ?buy universal adaptors for 3x price of normal one ?
