Sorry for the dual post..I am new and totally lost with the site and how to post.

Any one that can help with this simple question.

I have a HP Laptop dv9000. it has an HDMI port. I hooked up my HP 24" monitor to use a dual monitors and it worked fine.

NOW Its telling me that their is NO input signal..which is BS because this was working before. How do i fix this ?!!! Some thing was reset?

Obviously i need to find the HDMI port in the control panel....but I am NOT a tech guy... I REALLY NEED some help on how to fix this. I know that the HDMI cable was working BEFORE!

There should be a button switching monitors on the keyboard. Actually it's a combination of the Fn + some F key...
