    laptop wiresless card all the same size?

    I have a atheros wireless card from an older toshiba notebook, can I transfer that to a new notebook???

    So long as it's not to a HP or Compaq notebook that locks out "unapproved" miniPCI wireless cards in the BIOS, yes.

    be careful: there are different types of mini pci... Old mini pci cards tend to be type III while the t61 use type I/II... If the card look like this, it won't fit.

    More or less half the size of the old ones, something like this
