    Hi,
One day my laptop (lenovo ideapad yoga 13) stopped working. Every time I turned it on I got a notice that there is no SSD (don't remember the exact notice).
So I got a new SSD, but the computer still doesn't recognize the drive (the bios has: hard drive - not detected).
The laptop has an additional slot for a SSD, so I tried using the other one instead (tried every variation of drives in slots.... well, except of no drive in both slots, but I'm sure that win't work....)
When I insert a bootable usb with ubuntu installation on it, the computer starts fine, only can't install the OS because there is no disk space.
I'm sort of lost with this....
Is there anything I'm missing? Is there anything I need to do in order that the computer will recognize the SSD? When repairing another computer (with a HDD) all I did is insert the new one, so I figured it's the same here.
    Thanks a lot!!!!!

p.s - while trying to figure out the problem, I saw a small switch (with 2 states, that cannot be accessed without opening up the laptop) next to the SSD slot. I thought it might have something to do with that, so I played with it a little. Well, it didn't work, and now I don't remember where it started out. I'd also like to know what's that switch, and also where does it have to be.
