I have a 60gb mushkin callisto, yesterday my computer was plugged in with out the battery on it, I accedently removed the power outlet and the computer shut down. The problem is when I turned on the computer, every program and files I saved or installed in windows 8 vanished!!!! last week the same thing happened windows 7, and I lost all my settings in windows (thank god the files were still there!). What's up with this?

    Thanks

Do you already have the latest firmware for your drive?

Not sure if this is the one: MKNSSDCL60GB-DX - Mushkin Enhanced

Otherwise, not sure if the drive is simply faulty and you should try get a replacement.

Ya, I have the latest firmware....So no one else faced this problem? Like it's fine if I shut it off by holding the power button, or after any BSOD, but not with this situation.....

When you said files vanished, is it more than files from just today or since you last restarted?

Maybe you should just get the drive replaced to be safe.
