    Hey guys i am looking to buy a lightly used m1330 right now with c2d 2.0 ghz t7250. My question is if in a year i would like to upgrade the cpu to the 2.5 ghz penryn will i be able to or not?

    You'll be able to, but it's a fairly complicated process.
    You must do it yourself.

    Yes, you will need to upgrade your BIOS to A09.
