Is there anyway I could replace my nVidia 8400m in my Dell XPS m1330 with one of the new nvidia mobile gpus? The 8400m is super hot and maybe the newer version has better power management??? Or is this just bad chassis design? Thanks!

No, you can't upgrade your GPU without replacing the motherboard. Please read the stickies.

Since there are no other options for the m1330, there is no upgrade path even with replacing the motherboard.

If it's super hot, you can try that copper mod (not exactly for the faint of heart). Search it up on the forums.
