    ok so i got a m1530 with an x-fi xtreme audio express card and some z-2300 2.1 speakers from logitech. i'm wondering why it sounds a ton better when i dont use the x-fi xtreme audio card.

    don't know but now adays, u don't rly need separate Scards. the onboard is a good enough good of a quality.

    the expresscard sounds a ton better with headphones but when i plug in speakers it doesnt sound as good as the onboard
