Has anyone tried this? I'm thinking of using the mSATA as a boot drive and the Seagate as a normal HDD (albeit with a bit of that sumptuous ssd cache.)
I already know better to use mSATA as a cache drive in this setup (double Cache=eww). If anyone has experience with this setup or has any theory to offer on the topic please share.
My Google has the aim of a stormtrooper right now for some weird reason. Ty in advance!
Edit: both drives should be SATA III

There are no problems what so ever with using a SSD and Momentus XT in a dual drive config. You will see slightly faster operation for some of the stuff on the XT thanks to the SSD cache on it, that's it.

TY, that's all I needed to know!
mSATA 80gb drive + Seagate Momentus XT
