    Unless the mini PCI-E slot is linked to SATA controller, it won't work/boot. Only newer laptops/netbooks support this.

    Waste of time.

    mSATA was talked about/introduced in 2009 - many notebooks in 2012 still don't support it. Your notebook circa 2008 Definitely won't either.

    Its an arch difference, 0% chance, sorry.

    You could try a mSATA drive in every standard mini PCI-E in the world and it wont work.

    i asked about the CoreStore MV because the super talent has it in its own category, not in the other msata ssd category , and I thought maybe it has sata controller on it.
