Hey guys I want your opinion! Lenovo ran out of the ideapad RapidDrive models (models with ssd/hdd hybrid) so I got the next best thing.
I want to buy an mSATA PCIe ssd to make it work as if I bought the RapidDrive model. I want to spend around $100-$130. From my research I've found 3 options, what do you guys think? The only brand I recognize is Intel, I would like performance over size since I can use my regular hdd for storage.
Intel 310 Series 40GB
MyDigitalSSD 64GB
Renice 30GB K3VLAR
Are there any good ones I missed? Thanks in advance.

If your O/S and programs/utilities can fit within 30GB or less, then I would only recommend the Intel.
I would really recommend a 128GB or larger SSD for the most consistent and reliable performance.
Along with using this thread to move the users folder to your D: drive (mechanical).
See:

So the Renice is too small and the MyDigital is junk?

Yeah, even with moving the Users folder, 30GB is too small in 2011 (for me at least).
As to the mydigitalssd... I think they got banned here for some reason (can't find a single post from them in a search). Also remember that the 'benchmarks' they were throwing around were exactly the same on a few different places around the 'net - doesn't seem too realistic to have a single CDM benchmark to show people, now does it. -

Really? Hmm, like I mentioned - couldn't find any reply from mydigitalssd either... Hmmm... thanks for correcting me though.

The Intel 40GB is a bit of a dog compared to the 80GB, even according to Intel's posted specs:
Intel® Solid-State Drive 310 Series - Overview
If you can make the jump to the 80GB, you'll thank yourself down the road for it. -
In any case, I'd go with the 40 GB Intel. Don't get me wrong, the 80 GB is great and it's better than the 40 GB (trying to get an 80 GB myself), but it's also twice as much which is out of your budget. -
Hey guys, so the upgrade to my comp through lenovo would cost abt $300 extra for their 64GB ssd (and there is 0 mention of what brand the ssd actually is) so I might suck it up and shell out $200 for the 80GB intel.
Thanks for the help! -

Abula,
Thanks for pursuing this - I was wrong. Must have been someone else that was banned (now, I'm scared to name names...).

I think Lenovo uses Samsung mSATA 64GB:

It's a bit faster than Intel 310 80GB:
