    Hi

I am looking to buy a new laptop with a +80GB SSD for my operating systems (Win7 and Lubuntu) and a +500GB harddrive for storage of music and videos etc.

I am looking at 2 new ultrabooks. The HP Envy 4t and the Dell Inspiron 14z ultrabook. Both of these have 32GB cache options and 500GB HDD. What type of storage is the cache? mSata? If I ordered one with no cache could I install my own +80GB ssd?

This question might be better in the specific Envy 14 forum, but I thought I would ask here first:
I found a good deal on the HP Envy 14-2090 beats edition. I see the 14-2160 has a 80GB mSata SSD. Can I get the (much cheaper) 2090 and install my own 80GB mSata SSD?

    Thanks

Opening up the Envy 4t might void the warranty, I would contact HP about that.
