    hallo,
my macbook (the white one) battery just died: it's empty and I cannot charge it*. I suspect it's a problem of the circuit inside the battey, since the battery itself is not that old (280 clicles). Does anyone know if I can somehow fix it?
    Thanks a lot!

*: the light on the power-plug is always green though the battery is empty, and the icon on the desktop says "battery is not charging"; if I unplug the power adapter, the mac just shut down abruptively.

Try taking back to an Apple Store first? I don't personally know if you can "fix" Apple battery yourself, might get hurt doing that.

    cheers ...

sure, I did it and they wanted to sell me a new battery pack (120$). I'm just hoping there is a second option.

It's not strange for a battery to die after 280 cycles. Especially if you never did any effort to maintain it.

I would buy a new battery on Ebay. They're much cheaper there.
